In 1997, the State Council of General Culture specified October 21 as “the National Day of Export “in the Islamic Republic of Iran to demonstrate the national determination of the government and people to promote non-oil exports and economic growth. Selection of one day of the year as the National Day of Export would play a significant role in culture of export in our society. As a result, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran annually celebrates the “National Day of Export” in the presence of the president of Islamic Republic of IRAN in an attempt to develop public culture of export, developing domestic and foreign investments with the aim of creation new export opportunities and etc.

This year, the National Day of Export was held at Islamic Summit Conference Hall in the presence of Vice President, Mr. Eshagh Jahangiri, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Minister of Industry, Mine & Trade, Eng. Mohammadreza Nematzadeh. In this ceremony, Mr. Reza Moghimi Asl , Managing Director , received the Golden Prize of “ the National Exemplary Exporter – 2015 “ from above authorities on behalf of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO).

During the ceremony held to commemorate the national day of export, Jahangiri described the nuclear agreement and removal of sanctions as the two most important events in the history of Iran.
